Being from Seattle, I am spoiled with amazing options for authentic Japanese food! Mt Fuji is legit, authentic and delicious. Instead of the rolls, don't be afraid to try something different. Will be back!

I never leave reviews but this was the worst sushi experience I have had anywhere and I have eaten at some shady spots all over the US.
The Volcano roll was mostly just rice, only a few pieces actually had shrimp in them. And it had enough spicy mayo on it for 3 Volcano rolls at any other restaurant. I was willing to overlook that because the Hurricane roll presentation looked so good.
Then I tried the Hurricane roll and it was the worst roll I have ever had, didn't even finish it. I even asked the waitress, which was great btw, if she would take my roll up to the chef and ask if they made the wrong one. The chef assured her that was actually spicy tuna and I asked where the green onions were and the chef pointed to one little green spec mixed in with the "spicy tuna" and said that was it. I am talking the size of the end of a toothpick spec of green onion. The major issue was that I truly believe that the "spicy tuna" was actually SPAM. It had the consistency and the flavor of SPAM. The "tuna" wasn't even a shade of red like it should have been. I eat spicy tuna everywhere I go and I have never experienced anything like this.
Oh and if you get the Veg. Yakisoba and don't want over half your dish to be onions, ask for light onions.
SAVE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

They have a gift shop!!! First sushi place I've ever been to with a gift shop section! Hahaha this is a Japanese owned place. It's pretty cool when you walk in. Decorations are unique!

I ordered the spicy soft shelled crab sushi. It was presented differently than most restaurants. The crab was on top of the sushi like a volcano/mountain. It had a lot of flavor in it. Sweet tea could've been sweeter though. Love me some good sweet tea!!

Service was pretty good! Portions I would say is average size for an authentic Japanese restaurant. My colleague ordered the beef style ramen. They had it in a big cast iron bowl! It was pretty hot and beef was really good! At least now I can say I've been to Mt. Fuji! Haha Awesome place to just sit and relax and enjoy some good ole fashion sushi!!

Please look at the amount of shrimp in my shrimp fried rice in second pic to understand my level of disappointment...
First picture is the chicken fried rice.. Our salads were warm.. Good sauce, but are we not refrigerating lettuce? Just a lot of confusion tonight...

This place has my favorite ramen in Little Rock--it's missing more vegetables or variety of add-on options, but the broth flavors and different noodles are very tasty. They have always tried to accommodate my requests to add on different things, although have only done so with 70% success.

They have sushi, but I have never tried. I see lots of people getting sushi or sashimi.

Service is unpretentious. There is a family owned vibe here.

I really like the ambiance--two levels of small seating, asian style decor that is infused everywhere.

    A fun plus,
Stop by the asian grocery section on your way out.
